The Republic of Bulgaria or Bulgarian Republic commonly known as simply Bulgaria is a mountainous country in the Balkan Peninsula located in Southern Europe. Its western part is flanked by Serbia and the Republic of Macedonia, the North is bordered by Romania, the East is Black Sea while Greece and Turkey share its borders in the South.
