The Republic of Albania is located in the Southeastern part of Europe, in the Balkan region. Albanians live in a country with mountainous terrains and has one of the smallest areas in Europe. They are said to be descended from the Illyrian tribe of Albani, Urban mainland Greeks influence the culture of Albania. They have some peculiar ways like when they mean ‘no’ they nod their heads and shaking it means ‘yes’. An ancient way of greeting a person is Shoku also known as Comrade but people now prefer shaking the hands. Their dress code is not strict and informal though women are expected not to wear revealing outfits. There are also some etiquettes when visiting a person.
